Vaharli Hassan was trained in MARA University of Technology (UiTM) for Physiotherapy. In 2008, she obtained her first professional qualification and completed with First Class Honors her Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree in 2011. After completing her studies, she started her work as a physiotherapy lecturer at Asia Metropolitan University (AMU) Sabah before joining YAPCHANKOR beginning in 2013. Previously, she was a part of the research team which collaborated with UiTM on the barrier to exercising among middle aged and the elderly. The results of the research was published in a journal article in the Singapore Medical Journal in 2013.
Currently, she is a Senior Physiotherapist at YAPCHANKOR Pain Treatment Centre, Ampang Branch. The part of being a physio that Vaharli loves most is that this is a profession that combines her passions: utilizing medical and scientific principles to adapt physical activity interventions to help people achieve their goals in a one-on-one environment, to inspire the people to live a healthier life and to persevere through their recovery. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, swimming, hiking and travelling with friends. Overall, she just really loves being around other people.
