Art Psychotherapist

Reena Clare is a qualified Art Psychotherapist.  Using an eclectic approach, a wide range of theory and working in culturally aware dimensions, sessions are personalised to meet the client’s needs. Art Psychotherapy is a psychological therapy that she uses to help clients address complex and confusing emotions, foster self-awareness, work through trauma, challenging behaviours and mental health conditions through art.  She is a certified Practitioner in Children’s Accelerated Trauma Treatment (CATT).  Clients do not need to have any art skill to use art psychotherapy, as a trained artist the Art Psychotherapist will help you explore your visual image making. 

Reena has worked in London with various clients including those living with mental health diagnosis, special needs, bereavement, dementia, addictions and physical health conditions in the NHS, Westminster Arts, Kids Company and The European Reminiscence Network.  She has sound experience working with children and adolescents on various art fronted projects.
