After obtaining her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from International Medical University (IMU), Dr Teh Jia Li served the Ministry of Health in the state of Sabah, and later in Kuala Lumpur before she embarked on a passionate journey in Aesthetic Medicine.

Her interest in Aesthetic Medicine was kindled during her undergraduate days as a medical student where she did an attachment in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department at Tzu Chi Hospital, Taiwan. This invaluable experience opened her eyes to the potentiality of changing a person’s confidence and outlook in life by undergoing suited aesthetic treatments done by a qualified professional. She further extended her interest in Aesthetic Medicine through several courses and obtained a Diploma in Dermatology, followed by a Fellowship in Cutaneous and Laser Surgery from the Institute of Dermatology, Bangkok. She then refined her skills with 6 months of practical training with the country’s top dermatologists in a renowned Aesthetic Centre in Bangkok, Thailand. To fortify her knowledge in aesthetics, she attained a Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine and completed a Masters Course in Botulinum Toxin and Fillers Technique from the American Association of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM). Dr Teh has then worked in distinguished medical center and clinics as an Aesthetic Physician before joining The DRx Clinic, Kuala Lumpur.

Dr Teh aims to provide a highly professional, customized and safe treatment at all times. She believes that Aesthetic Medicine is a union of art and beauty with science, thus appropriate regimes should be tailored to the patient’s individual needs to enhance their features and help them look their best.
