Dr. Marini Othman graduated from the University of Malaya in 1999 and then pursued her interest in anesthesiology, graduating with a Masters in the field in 2007. Throughout her career, she has served in government and private hospitals throughout peninsular Malaysia including Hospital Raja Perempuan Zainab 2 in Kota Bharu, Hospital Sultanah Nur Zahirah in Kuala Terengganu, Hospital Tg. Ampuan Rahimah in Klang, Hospital Kuala Lumpur as well as KPJ Pasir Gudang. Never one to sit on her laurels, in 2011 she went for additional training in the field of Obstetric Anaesthesia. All in all, she has accumulated 15 years of experience practicing in the field of anaesthesia and critical care medicine and is well versed with managing ill patients both in the operating theatre and in the intensive care unit.
