Dr. Lim Li Aik graduated from the University of West Indies at Trinidad and Tobago and attained his orthopaedic specialty training, graduating with a Masters of Orthopaedic Surgery from University Kebangsaan Malaysia. After his Masters, he underwent further subspecialty training at such world renowned centres such as the Madras Institute of Orthopaedics and Traumatology in Chennai, India and the Samsung Medical Centre in Seoul, Korea. His training in Korea under the mentorship of leading figures in the field led him to acquire skills in minimally invasive surgical techniques and reconstructive approaches. While his special interest is in joint replacement and sports surgeries he is also trained to perform spine, trauma and pelvic surgeries.
