Wisdom Tooth Extraction

Wisdom Tooth Extraction

"Wisdom tooth, as commonly known, is actually the third molar tooth. For most of us wisdom teeth are the last teeth in the mouth, usually erupted during the late teens or early 20's. For most of us wisdom teeth are either fully erupted, partially erupted or do not erupt at all. It is common to have some discomfort during eruption of wisdom teeth, epecially the lowers. The most common complaint is pain and swelling. This is normally followed by fever, difficulties in mouth opening, and of course eating. These will normally subside after a few days, however some will require a visit to the dentist or Oral Surgeons for cleaning and a course of antibiotics and painkillers. Subsequently the teeth might require removal. Since most of wisdom teeth, mainly the lower, are impacted, removal means a minor oral surgical procedure."

I’ve been with the clinic for about 1.5 years undergoing the Invisalign process. How time flies in a matter a few months I’ll be done - goodbye to crooked misaligned teeth jutting out at weird angles that were visible on my front when I smile. Looking back, it was one day in 2017 I chanced upon the Invisalign technique. The aesthetics of not having wires in my mouth, pretty much painless process and most importantly almost no impact to the enjoyment of food drew me towards finding out more. It didn’t take me long to identify i.Dental as the leading provider of Invisalign with its Capital Tower clinic being the flagship dedicated clinic. Dr. SK Boey was assigned to me and she totally reversed my preconception of dentists being scary sadistic humans who like to torture people for having bad teeth. She was professional and sensitive to my needs, delicate but still getting the job done efficiently in the end. Of course having a world class service comes with a hefty price tag - I took the damage of 10k (including surgery I had to undergo due to a hidden tooth and removal of wisdom teeth) all at once when I started the process. So I didn’t have to worry about monthly instalments after that. Interest free instalments should be available too for those who prefer the damage to be inflicted gradually. All in all, while I have no other reference for comparison, I have not regretted this journey to my perfect smile with i.Dental. For those considering, my recommendation is to pick a reputable clinic for a fuss free professional treatment.
