Facelift

Facelift

A facelift is the medical aesthetics procedure done to quite literally lift up the face, tighten our facial skin, and produce a more youthful appearance for our face. During a facelift process, some of the procedures involved are the removing excess facial skin, tightening tissues, and reshaping the skin on your face and neck. There are both surgical and non-surgical options (also known as Threadlift) for facelift. Surgical facelift requires 1-2 days of hospital admission, while a non-surgical one can be completed as an outpatient. Treatment duration: 2-6 hours (surgical), about 1 hour (non-surgical)

You don't necessarily have to go under the knife for a facelift. With the latest treatments and technology, facelifts have become more and more common. If you have sagging or loose skin, a facelift can help you stimulate collagen production tighten your skin for a younger, fresher looking complexion.

In a non-surgical facelift, threads are used to pull the skin. These threads are absorbable by our body, and are the same type of threads as those used to suture cuts on our skin.

These threads pull our skin from the inside to an upwards and inwards direction to lift the skin, contour the face, and enhance facial features.

PicoSure®
PicoSure® represents the cutting edge of a type of laser technology known as short-pulse lasers. These lasers are designed to “flash” incredibly quickly, in PicoSure®’s case in trillionths of a second. This rapid flashing minimizes the amount of heat and creates a photomechanical effect that’s highly effective in removing tattoo ink and unwanted pigment. PressureWave™ technology is applied by using a unique wavelength of light (755nm) and a specialized lens to convert laser energy into gentle pressure. This pressure squeezes cells, activating the natural cell signalling processes that create new collagen and elastin without burning or damaging the skin. PicoSure® doesn’t rely on heat to burn away and destroy skin to force the body to heal. PicoSure®’s ultra-fast pulses and specialized wavelengths work together to minimize the amount of heat that is transferred. Less heat means less damage to surrounding skin and less risk of injury.

Filler Correction

Filler Correction

Have dermal fillers injected but didn't achieve your expected outcome? Or you have a different desired look you wish to achieve now? You can discuss with the doctor about fiiler correction treatments, to re-adjust or make changes to your present fillers.

Collagen Filler

Collagen Filler

Collagen, in human or animal, is the most abundant protein that makes up most parts of the living body. Collagen is a natural protein, that makes up 70%-80% of our skin dermal layer. Thus, replenishing collagen on our skin becomes essential in order to maintain a youthful look by delaying the signs of aging. While we can’t demand our collagen production to run like when we’re younger, we may, however, induce some collagen to add on to what we have, or cause the body part to produce more collagen. Hence, collagen fillers may be a way to help you regain your youthful looks by “plumping up” your wrinkles and folds. They are also useful in correcting fine lines and wrinkles.

Hair Loss Treatment

Hair Loss Treatment

Generally, hair loss is the loss of hair from the scalp (on our head) or other body parts. Hair loss can include excessive shedding, hair thinning, receding hairline, patchy bald spots, or excessively oily or dry scalp. Hair loss differs between men and women, and can also be different according to region and race (a topic still under research!). Age is certainly a factor, though not the ultimate one. Hair loss is more likely to affect males, elder people, and highly stressed individual. Fewer than 45% of women go through their lives without any hair loss problem at all, while 50% of men have been found to have mild hair loss, and 75% with moderate to severe hair loss. Hair loss in men is more of an expectancy compared to that for women. By the age of 80 years, 80% of men are affected by hair loss. Besides, 25% of men start showing hair loss signs as early as in their 20s! For women, about ⅓ of women experience hair loss at some point in their lives, and ⅔ women experience hair loss after menopause. However, hair fall is actually extremely normal for both women and man. Losing up to 250 strands of hair when you shampoo is normal for women with long hair! Aging is no doubt the most common cause of hair loss. However, did you know that you aren’t actually ‘losing hair’, but more on reduced hair growth during old age? On average, our hair grows up to 1.5 inches every month. The process of aging slows down the hair growth (which is unavoidable). So when your hair growth is slower than your hair fall, you start to notice less hair on your head. However, you may want to see a specialist when you experience the following conditions: Rapid hair loss Hair loss accompanied by itching, skin irritation, pain etc. Hair loss happens after consuming certain foods or medication

Hair loss is a common longstanding problem for both men and women, albeit in different forms across gender. Hair loss can be caused by aging, genetics, diet, hormones, or skin infections and medications.

There are several types of hair loss treatment that can be done for you to regain a head full of hair, including Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE), Platelet-rich Plasma (PRP) treatment, mesotherapy, hair regrowth injections, and others.

Discuss with your doctor to see which treatment suits your condition best to help you achieve your desired results.

Sometimes, hair loss can be caused by scalp infections like fungal infections or skin disorders. These can usually be treated with medicines or medical treatments, allowing hair to grow back after treatment.

Some medications or treatments can also lead to hair loss, especially those involving cancer (chemotherapy and radiotherapy), diabetes, arthritis, heart disease, or high blood pressure. Hormonal medication, birth control pills, steroids and acne medications affect our hormonal balance and may also lead to hair loss.

Treatments are aplenty these days for hair loss, so even though your hereditary hair loss can be unavoidable, it is certainly treatable. From topical medicines to treatments and procedures, find your preferred treatment at your preferred clinic, here.

PRP is made from the patient’s own platelets and fibrin, and play a role in enhancing the “growth factors” that activate and rejuvenate cells in our body. Both these steps stimulate the regeneration of collagen and improve the healing of stretch marks.

Technologies
Fractional CO2 Laser
Fractional CO2 laser is a medical aesthetics technology that can treat several skin conditions like dull skin, wrinkles, fine lines, and skin texture and tone without any discomfort or inconvenience of a long treatment duration.
Nd-YAG Laser
Nd-YAG Laser, also known as YAG Spectra Laser, is a technologically-advanced non-ablative laser that can be used to treat several different skin conditions, like facial thread veins, dull skin, sagging skin, and excessive hair growth.
Radio Frequency (RF)
Pico Laser
Thermage®
Thermage® is used for skin tightening and contouring. It uses a deep-heating radiofrequency technology to penetrate into the deepest layers of the skin to stimulate the formation of collagen, the protein in our body that helps in anti-aging. Thermage® therapy can help to treat wrinkles, refine skin texture, and lift the face. It is usually used for treating Crow's feet, crepey eyelids, droopy eyes and eye bags, fine line and wrinkles, facial sculpting and shaping, sagging facial skin, and loose skin under the chin.
Fraxel®
Less heat means less damage to surrounding skin and less risk of injury.

recently visited The Clifford Clinic for acne treatment and had an amazing experience! I tried their newest treatment, AviClear, which has been incredibly effective in reducing sebum production and controlling my breakouts. I also did the Q-switch laser to lighten my pigmented acne marks, and the results have been impressive. Dr. Gerard Ee is fantastic—professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. The entire team is warm and friendly, making me feel comfortable throughout my visits. The clinic itself has a cosy yet luxurious vibe, adding to the overall experience. 10/10 would highly recommend for anyone looking for effective acne solutions!

I came to Clifford with severe acne that wasn't solved after a few trips to two dermatologists. Dr Gerard Ee and the team were very dedicated in the treatments and I did the Q switch and V beam lasers for months and my acne cleared. The clinic is also a nice space in Raffles Place that feels comfortable and luxurious. I have already recommended Clifford Clinic to my friends!

I've been coming to Clifford for almost 5 years now. First came to treat my Acne when I was 27 years old. I had very severe cystic acne back then and it was Dr Gerard Ee who suggested the Agnes treatment back then. I must say after 2 sessions of AGNES, my acne that I've been suffering from for years actually stopped. Dr Ee is truly an expert dermatologist and not only did he cure my acne, but he also made my skin the best its ever been since I was a teenager using a series of lasers and a combination of acne scar treatments. Thank you so much! You saved my skin.

I've been seeing Dr Gerard Ee since 2015. Dr Ee has been my go to doctor for fillers, Botox and Pico Lasers. He has treated first my acne that has been so persistent since my teenage days with his AGNES machine and then my pigmentation due to years of sun damage. I love how clear my skin is now. I've trusted Dr Ee and my skin has never looked better since. Thank you to team at Clifford Clinic and the nurses that are always so reassuring. Dr Ee, you will always remain as my trusted doctor to go to!! =))

Right from entering, you'll be greeted by a whole bunch of smiling staff who are simply warm and hospitable. From the waiting room to the pantry to the powder room, the deco of the clinic will just WOW you away. Dr Law listened to my concerns, addressed each one of them, wasn't pushy and delivered what I wanted with great advice as well. He constantly checked if I felt okay to proceed and explained what he was doing and going to do. Hands down, a truly remarkable experience. Great work everyone and thank you for your hospitality!

Over the last 1.5 years, I have done a few sessions of agnes RF with Dr Chow for syringoma around my eyes. It has been an issue that bugged me for years, and over the last few treatments, my syringoma appearance and quantity has significantly flattened in appearance and diminished. It’s made me more chill to step out of the house without concealer around my eyes, and overall great for my confidence!

Did a hair transplant in May 2023 with Dr Chow. After consultation, which was professional and informative as we explored various treatments, I decided to take his advice to go for 4,000 grafts transplant, to achieve a good result and a longer term solution. Transplant was done over 2 days, supported by a team of nurses, in a room equipped with movies for me to enjoy while the transplants took place. Decided to go for the option of not shaving the recipient area for shorter recovery time to my usual hair style. It has been almost 1 yr now. Very happy with the result and I look much younger now. Cheers to Dr Chow and team!

Did my hair implant in March 2023 with Dr Chow Yuen Ho and it’s my best investment by far. There are many other clinics in sg or even overseas that provide hair inplant procedure but I highly recommend Dr Chow n his team of experienced staff. Providing excellent and professional treatment and consultation throughout my journey with them. Clinic has one of the most advanced technologies and process. Cheaper option may not yield such good results. I have almost 90-95% follicles survived and grown naturally. For those who are worried about pain - I can tell u it’s almost painless procedure cos my pain threshold is also very low. Local anesthesia will be given throughout so u don’t feel any discomfort during the process.

Having healthy and blemish-free skin these days (postpartum) is only made possible with my monthly maintenance with Clifford. I used to be a cystic acne sufferer for more than a decade, which drastically affected my self-esteem and self-worth. I came across Clifford Clinic via their FB ads, and being desperate in curing my cystic acne, I decided to come and seek treatment for my acne issue. Dr Gerard Ee has been most helpful, professional, patient and sincere right from the start. He asked for my acne history and concerns, went through various treatment plans with me in details before he proceeded with my very first treatment that very same day. Dr Ee walked through with me about what the procedure was going to be like and it really calmed me down as it was my first time going for AGNES acne treatment. Surprisingly, within days of treatment, I started seeing noticeable reduction in my acne outbreaks! And u could say I’ve never been happier with my skin since then. Until this day, I trust Dr Gerard Ee in his aesthetics recommendation because he always explains the treatment in detail and does a great job in answering my queries so I can be confident going into the treatment knowing entirely what to expect. I’ve done a number of treatments with him, eg. Agnes, Q-switch laser etc and I’ve been very pleased with the results. Thank you Dr Ee and the staff nurses who’ve been with me alongside my journey for the past 8 years since 2015! Love, Sherlene

I would sincerely compliment the hair team for being so professional despite the grueling long period hrs preparing and extracting as is definitely not an easy process when comes to grafting and selection .Overrall I had a very pleasant session and I would strongly recommend to those who need hair transplant or consultation on their ranging product services !Keep it up team ,Pioneer of All
