After assessing your dental condition, the dentist makes a customised mouth guard according to your teeth, together with some bleaching gel. After applying a layer of bleaching gel, the mouth guard is inserted into your mouth and left for one or more hours for the bleaching to take effect. You can then do subsequent treatments at home by consistently wearing the mouth guard (with the bleach gel) for a few hours.

Wisdom Tooth Extraction

Wisdom Tooth Extraction

"Wisdom tooth, as commonly known, is actually the third molar tooth. For most of us wisdom teeth are the last teeth in the mouth, usually erupted during the late teens or early 20's. For most of us wisdom teeth are either fully erupted, partially erupted or do not erupt at all. It is common to have some discomfort during eruption of wisdom teeth, epecially the lowers. The most common complaint is pain and swelling. This is normally followed by fever, difficulties in mouth opening, and of course eating. These will normally subside after a few days, however some will require a visit to the dentist or Oral Surgeons for cleaning and a course of antibiotics and painkillers. Subsequently the teeth might require removal. Since most of wisdom teeth, mainly the lower, are impacted, removal means a minor oral surgical procedure."

I have always been fearful of dentists. But the time came to remove my impacted wisdom tooth AND my last molar.. dreadful! Visited CASA dental based upon their reviews and saw doc Chan. The procedure was rather painless. The initial numbing injection wasn’t that bad at all, with the vibration thing they keep on your cheeks. Surgery was rather quick.. I was able to hear and feel the pressure and the tugging to remove the teeth but no real pain. I have a small jaw so found it hard to keep it open for long and doc Chan did find it hard to access my tooth. But he was reassuring. The gave me a stopper kinda thing to keep my mouth open. Total time taken for surgery was about 20 mins. Have found dental place of choice after 36 years.

Performed extraction of upper most rear molar plus impacting wisdom tooth (minor surgery). Chose this dental clinic based on good reviews on doctor Chan. Was served by doctor Yong instead. Was a bit apprehensive at first as he looked really young. Worries were misplaced. Dr Yong was composed, patient and detailed in his explanation. Offered opinions and options and discussed various approaches, giving one a sense of involvement and choice. Procedure was uneventful, and teeth was extracted with no complications (thus far, just walked out). Final cost @ ~ $400 not including xrays.

Newly moved to the area so was looking for a convenient place to do my regular dental matters. Saw the good reviews so decided to try. Had a good experience was Dr Yong. Fuss free, no pain. The thing which they used to polish the teeth even has a nice fruity taste. I would use this clinic regularly for my regular check ups from now on.

My first experience with CASA Dental Ang Mo Kio and I am very pleased with their service and professionalism. Dr. Chan performed an extraction of my upper incisor for an implant. He took great care to ensure that I did not suffer any discomfort. Will be going back for more followup treatments since the implant requires new bone to grow. The administrative staff Serena is also very friendly and advised me thoroughly on the total cost for my treatment. She also ensured that I did not miss my appointments by giving me a phone call the day before the appointment. The supporting staff are also very professional. I highly recommend Casa Dental and their team!

Went in to get my teeth checked and cleaned by Dr. Yong, who was very thorough with his explanations for procedures and made sure I didn't have an infection in my gums by verifying with an x-ray. The clinic is a little on the small side but still considered wheelchair-friendly and there is no step up into the clinic itself. The charges are very fair and I was treated kindly and gently (not like some dentists who seem to think they are doing dental procedures on a cadaver) so I highly recommend this dentist! I tend to fear dentists due to past trauma with the school dental nurse but I was totally at ease here.
