Dr Ungku Shahrin has more than two decades of experience as a registered medical doctor and is a respected figure in the field of medical aesthetics.

He is currently the President of the Malaysia Registered Aesthetic Medical Practitioners Society (Pertubuhan Doktor Estetik Berdaftar Malaysia, PDEBM).

In 2018, he organised Malaysia’s first International Medical Aesthetic Conference and Exhibition (IMACE) and is its Organizing Chairman.

In 2013, he was one of the first doctors in Malaysia to receive the Letter of Credentialing and Privileging (LCP) in Aesthetic Medical Practice from the country's Ministry of Health. He is also a committee member with the Ministry of Health, having developed the guidelines for aesthetical medical practitioners in Malaysia, and has been with the ministry’s Aesthetic Medical Practice division since 2008.

With his vast experiences and credentials, he has been invited to speak at major aesthetic conferences worldwide including IMCAS in Paris, AMWC in Monaco, and EADV in Geneva, among many others.
