Dr. Ong Kheng Wah graduated from the Kastuba Medical College, Manipal in 1995 and subsequently obtained his Master in Surgery from the University Malaya. A surgeon with vast experience, he has worked at various hospitals including the Melaka General Hospital, the University of Malaya Medical Centre. Prior to joining the Oriental Melaka Straits Medlcal Centre, he was a Senior Surgical Lecturer with the Universti Putra Malaysia (UPM), working in the major tertiary referral centres like the General Hospital Kuala Lumpur and General Hospital Serdang. Upon gaining experiences in Colorectal and Laparoscopic Surgery in HKL, he furthered his training in Laparoscopic Surgery at the Seoul National University in Korea, Bariatric Surgery in Chulalongkorn Hospital, Bangkok as well as Endoscopic Thyroidectomy in National Endocrinology Hospital, Hanoi.
