Received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) with distinction from University Science Malaysia in 2005. She received specialised training in periodontology at Guy’s Hospital London, which involves three years of post-graduate education and earned her Master of Clinical Dentistry (MClinDent in Periodontology) with distinction. In the same year, she obtained her fellowship in periodontology from the Royal College of Surgeon of Edinburgh (United Kingdom).

She poses vast experience in the field of periodontology and implantology.She had worked in various dental setting namely the government’s primary care dental clinics and periodontal unit as well as Guy’s Hospital London (King’s College) for 3 years under supervision of world renowned consultant specialist.

As a specialist periodontist, she is passionate about promoting awareness on oral and periodontal health as well as benefits of preventive dentistry among the patients and general dental practitioners. Dr Freeda provides a comprehensive range of periodontal therapy. These include routine gum treatment, diagnosing & managing periodontal problem, bone and soft grafting procedures, aesthetic gum surgery and a full range of dental implant procedures. She has special interests in periodontal plastic surgery, implant dentistry and bone regenerative procedures.
