Acupuncture Treatment

Acupuncture is a complementary medical practice that entails stimulating certain points on the body, most often with a needle penetrating the skin, to alleviate pain or to help treat various health conditions. It is a chinese medicine practice that can be combined with cupping. Acupuncture has been integrated with functional medicine. At Integrative Acupuncture, we believe that functional medicine is the cornerstone of restoring good health, as it focuses on treating the patient, finding the root cause of the disease. In this case, consultation with your doctor or acupuncture practitioner is the most important since they will address your medical problems and give the best treatment according to your health.

The doctor will prescribe treatments depending on your body condition, but generally, they will recommend you to: Exercise often, under the morning sun Cut down carbonated drinks, protein, and caffeine Change your diet Reduce stress There are still a lot of treatment which can only be prescribed by looking at your condition. Back Pain Treatment

Back Pain Treatment

Backache, or back pain, is not a disease, but an indicator to a more serious problem. It can result from a problem with either ligaments, muscles, nerves, or the bone that make up the spine, or even organs like the kidney. Mostly, the cause of back pain is overworking, which is why people often opt to look for a chiropractor, acupunture practitioner, message therapist. Other alternatives that functional medicine practice offers is to start with your body and your mind. Since pain is a sensory and emotional experience, our thoughts, feelings, and emotions (e.g.: from stress) can actually contribute to the feeling of "pain". Doctors may suggest you to:Undergo an elimination dietExerciseGet plenty of restManage stressIf you're considering using alternative medicine for back pain, talk with your doctor first. It's important to note that self-treating with alternative medicine and avoiding or delaying standard care may be harmful to your health.

Pregnancy Back Pain Treatment

Pregnancy Back Pain Treatment

It is normal to experience back pain during pregnancy. This happens because during your pregnancy, your body produces a hormone called relaxin that relaxes your pelvic area and loosens the pelvic joints to prepare for the childbirth process. However, this same hormone also causes the ligaments that support your spine and backbone to loosen and relax, causing instability and pain. You can let your doctor check on your back pain problem so that your doctor can advise you on the best treatment, whether it is a medical treatment or a daily practice for your back pain relieft.

I first got to know Your Physio through a friend’s recommendation. I came here for treatment because I had overstrained myself with running and intense workouts, which led to tightness and strain in my glutes and calves. That’s when I turned to Your Physio for help, and I’m so glad I did! I chose to continue my treatment here because my therapist, Julie, is not only highly professional but also incredibly attentive. She educated me on the benefits of physiotherapy and helped me understand how to better manage common issues we face in our daily lives. Through her guidance, I learned how to strengthen my muscles and improve my posture—and most importantly, my condition significantly improved! Thanks to Julie’s expertise and care, I’ve fully recovered and am now back to my active lifestyle, feeling stronger than ever! All the therapists here are also very kind, gentle, and approachable. The clinic environment is calming, clean, and beautifully designed—making each visit feel relaxing and reassuring. I truly felt well cared for every time I came in. Highly recommend Your Physio to anyone looking for quality treatment and genuine care!

I recently visited Your Physio Shah Alam, and I must say, their service is outstanding! My physiotherapist, RJ, was incredibly professional and responsible in treating my tennis elbow that I had been suffered for 1 and a half month. As an active badminton player, the pain was affecting my performance, but by my 3rd visit, I felt significantly better and almost pain-free. Last week, I unfortunately sprained my lower back while lifting heavy items. When RJ wasn’t available, I was referred to another physiotherapist, Fadhilah. After just 2 days of treatment, my lower back pain has almost completely resolved. I was quite surprised that both of them are equally skillful and friendly. But both RJ and Fadhila did told me my conditions were relatively mild, that's why I can heal fast but I am truly impressed with how quickly and accurately they addressed my issue. I highly recommend Your Physio Shah Alam especially both of them to anyone suffering elbow and lower back issue 😁
