Child Braces

Child braces are dental braces for children to align, straighten, and position your teeth to improve dental health, oral aesthetics and any biting or teeth alignment problems. Child braces are usually less complex and more straightforward than adult treatments, because adults have generally more oral conditions to look out for during orthodontic treatments. On average, it takes about 24 months to complete an orthodontic treatment. Some patients require less than 12 months, while some require up to 3 years of treatment. It depends on the complexity of your oral condition.

For most of us wisdom teeth are either fully erupted, partially erupted or do not erupt at all. It is common to have some discomfort during eruption of wisdom teeth, epecially the lowers. The most common complaint is pain and swelling. This is normally followed by fever, difficulties in mouth opening, and of course eating. These will normally subside after a few days, however some will require a visit to the dentist or Oral Surgeons for cleaning and a course of antibiotics and painkillers. Subsequently the teeth might require removal. Since most of wisdom teeth, mainly the lower, are impacted, removal means a minor oral surgical procedure."

I did my dental checkup, scaling and polishing, and minor oral surgery (MOS) to remove my wisdom tooth. I can say that my overall experience here was superb. The doctor and her assistants were amazing. During my MOS, there was another doctor who came to perform the surgery with Dr Leh assisting him. He explained about the procedure and post-operation measures, recommendation and risks thoroughly, and I was really satisfied. I look forward for another MOS with the clinic sometime soon for my other wisdom tooth to be removed, and any other further dental checkups and treatments provided by the clinic. Thank you very much to the doc and her assistants for this experience 😊 Stay safe!

A week before Chinese New Year my fiancé and I went to Smileline to get our teeth done. We opt for the CNY package which include whitening, scaling, polishing and fluoride. The package also came with a free goodie bag that had a tube of toothpaste, a toothbrush, face masks, a 2021 mini calendar and a few angpau packets. Service was tip top, staff and dentist were professional and the ambiance is so pleasant. Will definitely be our go-to place for our teeth checkups!
