Root Canal Treatment

Root Canal Treatment

"Root canal therapy is needed when the nerve of a tooth is affected by decay, infection or trauma. In order to save the tooth, the pulp (the living tissue inside the tooth), nerves, bacteria, and any decay are removed and the resulting space is filled with special, medicated, dental materials, which restore the tooth to its full function. Having a root canal done on a tooth is the treatment of choice to save a tooth that otherwise would die and have to be extracted."

Composite Resin Fillings

Composite Resin Fillings

Composite (plastic) resins are matched to be the same colour as your teeth and therefore used where a natural appearance is desired. The ingredients are mixed and placed directly into the cavity, where they harden. Composites may not be the ideal material for large fillings as they may chip or wear over time. They can also become stained from coffee, tea or tobacco, and do not last as long as other types of fillings generally from three to 10 years.

Child Braces

Child braces are dental braces for children to align, straighten, and position your teeth to improve dental health, oral aesthetics and any biting or teeth alignment problems. Child braces are usually less complex and more straightforward than adult treatments, because adults have generally more oral conditions to look out for during orthodontic treatments. On average, it takes about 24 months to complete an orthodontic treatment. Some patients require less than 12 months, while some require up to 3 years of treatment. It depends on the complexity of your oral condition.

Wisdom Tooth Extraction

"Wisdom tooth, as commonly known, is actually the third molar tooth. For most of us wisdom teeth are the last teeth in the mouth, usually erupted during the late teens or early 20's. For most of us wisdom teeth are either fully erupted, partially erupted or do not erupt at all. It is common to have some discomfort during eruption of wisdom teeth, epecially the lowers. The most common complaint is pain and swelling. This is normally followed by fever, difficulties in mouth opening, and of course eating. These will normally subside after a few days, however some will require a visit to the dentist or Oral Surgeons for cleaning and a course of antibiotics and painkillers. Subsequently the teeth might require removal. Since most of wisdom teeth, mainly the lower, are impacted, removal means a minor oral surgical procedure."

Dr. Philip specializes in gum treatment and was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. He took the time to explain my condition using simple language and drawings, making it easy for me to understand. I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Periodontist Clinic in Kuala Lumpur, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. This clinic truly stands out as one of the best periodontist practices I have ever encountered. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the modern and inviting atmosphere. The equipment used throughout the clinic is state-of-the-art, reflecting their commitment to providing the highest quality care. They employ a meticulous 4-step cleaning process that ensures thoroughness and precision in every procedure. What particularly impressed me was their use of the GBT Spa Air Flow machine with polishing powder so fine that it not only effectively cleans but does so without any discomfort to the gums—a testament to their dedication to patient comfort and advanced technology. Dr.Philip Han, whom I had the privilege of observing firsthand, is undoubtedly one of the finest dentists in Kuala Lumpur. His skill and expertise were evident in every aspect of his work. Beyond his professional competence, he exhibited a rare combination of politeness and humility, making the entire visit pleasant and reassuring. Moreover, the clinic is not solely focused on periodontal care. Dr. Deniece Chua his wife and a principal dentist at the clinic, is adept at a wide range of general treatments including crowns, root canals, and veneers. Her specialization in pediatric dentistry further underscores their versatility and dedication to comprehensive family care. In conclusion, I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough. Whether you're seeking specialized periodontal treatment or comprehensive dental care for your family, the Periodontist Clinic exceeds expectations on every front. Give them a try—you'll find yourself returning not just for the exceptional care but also for the warm and welcoming environment they create. This is truly one of the best clinics in Kuala Lumpur, and I am confident you will share my enthusiasm after your visit.

I consulted Dr Philip Han due to some issues with my gums. It was my 1st time with this Clinic but after 2 sessions, I must admit I am impressed! Firstly, appointment given were adhered to punctually and I don't need to wait any longer than 5 mins! The moment I entered, all staff were courteous and made me felt at ease not to mention the lovely and relaxing ambience of the clinic. As for Dr Philip, he has very good interpersonal skills and clinical acumen. He was thorough in his examinations. What I like most was the Doctor-patient interactive sessions where he took his time to explain my conditions. I asked ton of questions but he was patient; with his expertise, he was able to give me replies which enable me to make the right decision for further treatment/procedures etc. During the procedure, as much as he could, Dr Philip made it least uncomfortable for me. If you're looking for a Periodontist I'd recommend Dr Philip Han! Thank you Oasis Dental Specialist!

This was my first visit, and the environment is very nice. More importantly, Dr. Philip is very kind and makes you feel comfortable. I'm usually very scared of going to the dentist because I'm afraid of the pain, but when Dr. Philip checked my tooth pockets, it wasn't painful at all. He explains everything carefully and even writes it down for you. Highly recommended!

I just had my wisdom teeth removed at this beautiful clinic and I can say it was the most professional experience I had with a dental clinic. Dr Philip Han and his assistants made this procedure pain free and took me step by step through the procedure. Other than that, I was attended by Ms. Prety, she’s friendly and very accommodating! Highly recommend this clinic.

I was with Dr Phillips for looking for a consultation for my periodontal condition and treatment. I was very satisfied with the initial meeting thus decided to proceed the treatment with Dr Philips. He is very detailed and thorough with his explanation before getting down with the procedures. His advice was also spot on based on the updated research practice on dental treatment. Since it’s quite rare to have a specialist in periodontics, Dr Philips is the best you can have if you’re experiencing the periodontal disease even in an early stage as the awareness of it is still low in Malaysia. ◡̈ P/s the new clinic is wonderful! Hehe

I love everything about this clinic. The ambiance (relaxing accoustic music all time), the layout (very calming, spa(ish), high end/hi tech machinaries/instruments, the people and nurse assistants, and especially Dr. Deniece (she is friendly, informative, skillful, awesome w kids, reassuring and composed). Definitely worth relying your dental health on them and the costs is reasonable. All the best Dr. Deniece and Oasis
