Wisdom Tooth Extraction

Wisdom Tooth Extraction

"Wisdom tooth, as commonly known, is actually the third molar tooth. For most of us wisdom teeth are the last teeth in the mouth, usually erupted during the late teens or early 20's. For most of us wisdom teeth are either fully erupted, partially erupted or do not erupt at all. It is common to have some discomfort during eruption of wisdom teeth, epecially the lowers. The most common complaint is pain and swelling. This is normally followed by fever, difficulties in mouth opening, and of course eating. These will normally subside after a few days, however some will require a visit to the dentist or Oral Surgeons for cleaning and a course of antibiotics and painkillers. Subsequently the teeth might require removal. Since most of wisdom teeth, mainly the lower, are impacted, removal means a minor oral surgical procedure."

Overall an excellent experience. Dr Philips is/was very upfront on the procedures and costs. He also provided sound advice with facts as was with Dr Deniece and Dr Ju Lyn. Not the cheapest of dental clinics around but the treatment and constant advice during procedure gives patient an idea of what they should or should not be going through. All doctors were very concerned about my well being while they were probing in my mouth(😆) and constantly checks on me. We'll done, good job and please keep it up.

Excellent service by Dr Ju Lynn, Dr Denice and Nurse Monisha. I have a severe anxiety and they made sure I was comfortable enough to go through with the consultation. The doctors explained very well and made sure I knew or understood what they were about to do to me. The nurse (Monisha) gave me papers and pen for me to scribble on when I was too anxious. I folded paper planes and she joined me to fold paper boats :). Dr Ju Lynn helped to divert my anxiety by having casual conversations so I could be more relaxed. The whatsapp messages are very responsive too. Dr Philips immediately called me when I had questions with regards to the medicine. The only thing that’s unpleasant is the other nurse wasn’t as friendly / approachable, probably due to having a lot of things to do on that day. But that’s not really a big issue, compared to the pain I’m having with my wisdom tooth!

Good! My son has got a lot of improvement since the doctor suggested him to changed toothbrush. He has had the difficulty of brushing teeth before. You can consult for free. The doctor looked very cheerful, very professional, and explained in great detail. For example, what happens in half a year after tying teeth, and how it will happen in two years. The clinic also has a set of dental products that include mouthwash, toothbrush and toothpaste. The doctor also gave advice, saying that it is necessary to take good care of the teeth if it is tied to the teeth, otherwise it would be a waste of two years. • Original in Chinese, translated by Google

Dr. Deniece is really a gentle doctor. My son was completely comfortable during the entire process of filling his teeth. That night, I was really worried about my son’s toothache. I sent a message to the clinic that night, and I didn’t expect the doctor to personally. The reply also comforts me. Don’t worry. Good doctors are not available. Thank you Dr. Deniece. I am very serious about the disinfection of the clinic, and the doctors and nurses wear masks and gloves because of hygiene. It is very reassuring 💕 • Original in Chinese, translated by Google

This a great practice! We were living in Penang when our son had his braces put in. Then we moved to Selangor and the hunt was on to find a good orthodontist. We were referred to Oasis Dental at Ara Damansara and were so impressed by Dr. Deniece Chua that she has become his new orthodontist. As well now, my husband and I have had our exams and cleaning done and we really like this practice. Last Friday I chipped a tooth and Dr. Deniece saw me first thing Saturday morning to fix it. She did a great job, I have no pain and can eat normally again.

I had gum bleeding for many month that it started to scare me a little. The bleeding went from only bleed while brushing to occasionally suprise bleading while not doing anything. I was then worried sick and Google a good gum specialist around my housing area. Set an appointment with Dr Philip Han and he did a thorough check on the gums and teeth. He explained it very well and did a deep cleaning of the teeth and gum while teaching some home maintenance as well. There are areas ofy gums that is super inflammation but Dr Philip was gentel and it was not a scary experience overall. Im happy with rhw overall treatment and hospitality from the clinic.
